“I started to think, ‘what if rather than just hurting people, my wrestling could also help?’ “.
It’s my nature as a polymath to consider the connections between my disparate interests. As a high school teacher (among many other things), education is a passion. A trip to Haiti in the wake of the devastating earthquake forced me to take stock of both what I have, and what I could give.
Fast forward a few years and the Renaissance Man wrestles and raises money for the CTOTO. Buy a $30 ticket instead of $20, and that $10 goes directly towards the tuition for elementary kids in Haiti.
